Teen Voices Rising was an opportunity for Hudson Valley Youth to come together in a safe and open space to explore the pressing issues of their generation. Participants learned the art of developing and performing spoken word pieces, understanding the power of public performance, and presenting their work at a culminating event hosted by the Maya Gold Foundation and emceed by Poet Gold, the 2017 and 2018 Dutchess County Poet Laureate.
