ABOUT:
When we co-founded the Maya Gold Foundation in 2015 and developed the mission, we had no idea where we would be eight years later. We had no idea that the Maya Gold Foundation would offer programming to over a thousand young people and adults in the Hudson Valley, that we would produce two concerts, screen a movie, present live theatre, staged readings, guest lectures, and bring Hudson Valley youth to Nepal for two weeks each spring. In truth, we had a clear sense that the mission was right, and that it and Maya’s spirit would lead us in the right direction, but we could not really predict what came to be. We were right to trust the mission, and to trust Maya’s vision.

In February of 2016 we selected our first Board of Directors and Advisory Board, and shortly thereafter were joined by our Youth Action Team. Each of these adults and teens have brought unique skills and abilities to our work. Some have left since that first meeting, new ones have joined us. Always we focus on our mission, and all of our work is aligned to that simple mission, to empower youth to access their inner wisdom and realize their dreams.
