Maya Gold Foundation co-founder Elise Gold was honored at the TMI Project annual Voices in Action event, held on September 28, 2017, in Kingston, NY. Elise remarked that “we at the Maya Gold Foundation realize that the work we do both locally and globally cannot be done alone. We seek partners whose vision aligns with ours. We are thrilled that TMI Project is one of our partners. TMI Project creates space where individuals can be authentic. Safety is maintained, allowing writers to travel to dark places. Then, there is opportunity for readers to be heard. We deeply value this work.” Regarding the Maya Gold Foundation, TMI Project Executive Director Eva Tenuto commented that “we are honored to be able to publicly recognize the people who’ve dedicated their time, talent and passionate service to make our work possible.”
